What is Kids Hack Day?
Kids Hack Day is a global series of free creative tech events for kids. We give kids tools to express their creativity, be curious and empathetic towards each other and the world around them. We empower kids to take control over their own future and not just passively consume what someone else has designed for them. We believe this is what hacking is all about, which is also why we created our own hackable toy in the process. We call it Quirkbot. It's a toy to make toys, and the perfect tool for your local KHD event.
At Kids Hack Day we give you the opportunity to build and program your own robotic creature. Give your robot life by applying lights, sound and movement. 3D-print masks for them and see how they perform against other robots in the Robowars Arena or at the BotRace Track. To your support there will be a whole bunch of experienced robot builders at the venue and you will get to borrow all the materials you need. Now, all you need is a big dose of imagination!
This is a drop-in event. Bringing a computer is recommended, but not required.
